Events include conservation activities such as bat monitoring, butterfly walks, badger watches, bug hunts and many more. We have a members' walk at least once a month and other special interest events and trips throughout the year. So why not come along? See the events page for more details. We have close links with other conservation groups such as the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, The Woodland Trust, Looe Voluntary Marine Conservation Area, BBC South West (Breathing Places), Caradon Field and Natural History Club, the Friends of Churchtown Farm, Cornwall Mammal Group, BTCV and other local and environmental organisations. These links enable us to share resources and expertise to ensure that the woodland is both properly managed and remains a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) that the local and wider community have access to.
